BOW RIVER CAPITAL PARTNERS IS A PRIVATE INVESTMENT FUND BASED IN DENVER, COLORADO THAT INVESTS IN PROMISING U.S. AND CANADIAN COMPANIES AND ALTERNATIVES. BOW RIVER AND ITS PRINCIPALS HAVE COLLECTIVELY PRODUCED A LONG-TERM TRACK RECORD OF VALUE CREATION BY PARTNERING WITH AND PROVIDING PRIVATE EQUITY TO PROVEN OPERATORS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO GROWING THEIR BUSINESS.
Bow River was founded in 2003 and raised its second fund in late 2006. Total assets under management are approximately $110 million, the bulk of which are capital commitments from high net worth individuals. Bow River takes an opportunistic approach to its investment philosophy with private equity lending to companies in a variety of different industries. These industries include: business and consumer services, distribution, private aviation (fixed-base operations), financial services, energy, and real estate. The Principals of Bow River have diverse skill sets in capital markets, operations, accounting, real estate, and management consulting. This depth of experience allows us to add value at all levels of an organization.
Bow River targets companies for private lending that have capable and proven management, historical positive free cash flow, annual revenues of $10 million or more, strong products or services, a market niche, and the potential for significant growth in revenue and cash flow.
Our typical investment size is $2 million to $7 million (although we have participated in much larger transactions by partnering with other investors) and our target equity investment horizon is three to five years. |
