Bow River is committed to being responsible corporate citizens and stewards of investor capital, and supporting the communities in which we live, work and invest. To that end, we have a Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (CSR) that spearheads the firm’s CSR efforts across three pillars: Sustainability, People and Governance.

The CSR Committee includes team members from across the firm, reflecting a broad range of perspectives and expertise. We leverage this interdisciplinary approach to evaluate initiatives and determine the most effective path forward.

CSR Pillars

Bow River Capital’s CSR efforts are organized around three core pillars: Sustainability, People, and Governance.

We take proactive steps to reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices within our corporate operations. 

#2: People

Our People pillar focuses on employee engagement, creating a more diverse culture and partnering with non-profits that make a difference in our community.

#3: Governance

Above all, Bow River Capital is charged with being responsible stewards of our investors' capital. To that end, we identify and mitigate material risks at both the corporate and fund level, and we support and advance good governance as part of our investment process. We incorporate the key pillars of governance into our investment process and communicate clearly and transparently with our investors.

 

 

 

Diversity and Inclusion

We believe a diverse team with varied experiences and perspectives makes us a stronger firm and better investors. Activate Workforce Solutions operates in Bow River Capital’s hometown of Denver; its mission is to activate low-income individuals into their inherent potential through the dignity of work. Its sister company, ActivateIT is a recruiting, IT training, and coaching organization that focuses on professional and interpersonal development to enable our students to succeed in IT careers and achieve economic freedom.

STREAM Foundation

Bow River Capital has partnered with the STREAM Foundation to help support their mission to educate, train, mentor and provide scholarship and internship opportunities to students from underrepresented groups in the area of asset management with the ultimate goal of increasing industry representation.

We are committed to making a positive impact in underserved communities in Colorado and beyond. 

We are proud to support Arrupe Jesuit High School through their Corporate Work Study Program. 

Arrupe Jesuit High School

Bow River is excited to partner with Arrupe Jesuit High School to support their Corporate Work Study Program.

Arrupe Jesuit High School, located in Denver, CO, makes college prepatory education an attainable goal for families who otherwise could not provide it. The school serves 415 students from 49 zip codes and 107 feeder schools. Seventy-eight percent of Arrupe's students qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. 

Arrupe's unique Corporate Work Study Program allows students to pursue their educational dreams while learning about the corporate community where they will one day work. This unique approach to schooling sets Arrupe's students apart.

Overall, 70% of graduating seniors are the first in their families to graduate from high school and 90% of graduates are the first in their families to go on to college.

Bow River Capital is proud to partner with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, an organization with a rich history of empowering young people with financial literacy, entrepreneurial mindset, and career readiness skills needed to succeed in today's economy. This partnership reflects our commitment to the next generation of Rodeo Region™. Through hands-on learning, Junior Achievement helps strengthen our local communities and future workforce, aligning closely with Bow River Capital's values.
